RED RIBBON WEEK

Activities at Post Elementary

October 22-26, 2007

CLASSROOM POSTER CONTEST
This year, each classroom will be given a poster to design an original "Fight Drugs" slogan/theme. Students with teacher input are to design and complete posters. Posters are to be placed on or outside your classroom door by 10:00 Friday, October 19th to be judged. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. Student class recognition, newspaper article and website recognition will be given. (posters will not be available until Thursday, Oct. 11th, if you would like to get started on yours, just use a white poster and we will replace it)

DRUG-FREE Dress up Days....
Please encourage your students to participate. We will take a class count of every student who participated for that theme day. Winners will be announced daily with a grand winner on Friday. Maybe you could challenge other classes and get some of that Post Elementary School Spirit going. If teachers and faculty build it up and participate, then more students will get involved.

(Students sign the "Pledge To Be Drug Free" banner)
(Red Ribbons will be placed in your box for each student to wear today and
the rest of the week.)
