Parents, K12 Planet is a new tool in place at the Middle and High Schools you can use from your own computer in your home to follow your child’s progress in his/her classes, keep up with activities associated with the school, and stay in contact with his/her teacher/s. There will be a meeting for all parents who are interested in this program. If you are interested in signing up for this program you must contact Kay Postell either by email
kpostell@post.k12.tx.us or by phone—495-3343 xt.610—to set up a time to get a user id and password to access the program. These user ids and passwords must be handed out in person, therefore there will be several meetings to hand them out and go over the information. There are easy to follow instructions on the K12 Planet web site and we will go through these steps at the meeting. There will also be a handout for you to take home with instructions.
If you do not have a computer at your home you will be able to access the web site from any computer with an internet connection, i.e. the public library or the computer lab at the high school which is open from 7 – 9 pm on Monday nights. There will also be a link to the K12 Planet web site on the Post ISD web site.
